• If you are UNDER the age of 18.
• If you are currently pregnant.
• If you are currently breastfeeding.
• If you are on or have taken Acutane in the last 12 months.
• If you currently have a serious medical condition and you are not under the care of a physician. 

Please note that failure to adhere to the following increases your risk of unwanted results/ improper healing:

AVOID THE FOLLOWING FOR 24 HOURS PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT: CAFFEINE, ALCOHOL, ASPRIN, IBUPROFIN OR OTHER BLOOD THINNERS, SUPPLEMENTS SUCH AS FISH OIL, VITAMIN E OR OTHER SKIN/HAIR/ NAILS VITAMINS.

FOR 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT: REFRAIN FROM FACIALS, CHEMICAL PEELS, BOTOX, RETIN-A OR AHA PRODUCTS.

FOR 5 DAYS PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT: AVOID THREADING OR WAXING EYEBROWS, TANNING/ DIRECT SUN EXPOSURE. 

AVOID THE FOLLOWING FOR 24 HOURS PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT: CAFFEINE, ALCOHOL, ASPRIN, IBUPROFIN OR OTHER BLOOD THINNERS, SUPPLEMENTS SUCH AS FISH OIL, VITAMIN E OR OTHER SKIN/HAIR/ NAILS VITAMINS.

FOR 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT: REFRAIN FROM BOTOX/FILLERS , RETIN-A OR AHA PRODUCTS.

FOR 1 WEEK PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT: EXFOLIATE LIPS DAILY, START TAKING L-LYSINE TO PREVENT COLD SORES, START TAKING ANTI-VIRAL IF PRONE TO COLD SORES.
 

When you arrive at your scheduled appointment you will fill out your medical history form as well as sign a consent form. Your PMU artist will go over all paperwork with you and will explain the procedure in detail. 

The nature of all procedures is a tattoo meaning some discomfort or even pain may be associated with your procedure. Your PMU artist will use a topical anesthetic to numb the area during the procedure upon your consent. Please notify PMU artist beforehand if you have any known allergies.

Please note this is an open wound and proper aftercare is not only important for desired results but also to reduce the risk of infection. Aftercare instructions will be reviewed prior to your procedure and a copy will be given to you after your procedure is done.

• Keep area clean and avoid touching during healing process.
• Avoid makeup on or around the wound for 7-10 days.
• Avoid getting eyebrows  or lips wet or excessive sweating for the first 7-10 days. 
• Avoid treatments such as waxing, threading or plucking until brows are healed.
• Avoid treatments such as facials, microdermabrasions, lasers or chemical peels for at least 4 weeks after procedure.
• Avoid botox/ fillers around procedure site for at least 4 weeks after procedure.
• Seek medical treatment immediately at first signs of any infection and/ or allergic reaction.

• DAY 1-3: The browns will appear fuller and very dark with some swelling and redness.
• DAY 3-5: Your eyebrows will start to peel and flake. Do not scratch them!
• DAY 5-8: The color will start to fade, and the scabs will start to flake. Do not pick the scabs!
• DAY 8-12: The flaking will stop, and the color will start to return, but will be patchy.
• DAY 12-21: The color should appear more natural and blended.
• DAY 21-30: The eyebrows are soft and feathery looking. Skin should be completely healed.

• Day 1-2: Lips will be 20-40% darker than expected healed results. Moderate swelling and tightness will occur for the next 24 hours. Lips will be dry, tender and tight. 
• Day 3-7:  Your lips will begin to fade and scab, do not touch or pick at scabs. Continue to apply ointment throughout this process. Continue to take L-lysine and an anti-viral if prone to cold sores.  
• Day 8-14:  The outside of the lips may appear healed but healing is still taking place beneath the surface. Freckles of the lips may appear darker but will lighten. Lip color will begin to darken again. 
• After day 14:  Your lips will start to settle into their final shape and color. The true color will be apparent by week 3. Continue to avoid any retinol products to prolong the color. 

Desired results will likely not be achieved during the first appointment due to the healing process. It is possible for eyebrows to heal either too light or slightly uneven and this can be corrected during the touch up appointment. Touch up appointments should be scheduled 6-8 weeks after initial procedure. 

If you are seeing me for the first time you will be charged as a new client and will be subject to paying the full procedure price. I take clients with pre-existing cosmetic tattoos on case by case basis which is why you MUST schedule a consultation prior to any procedure if you have had previous permanent makeup procedures. 

All canceled or rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hours notice or no shows  will result in a forfeit of your reservation fee.
